“Cabs are here!” – ‘Jersey Shore’ Reunion Sets Premiere Date
Hey Jersey Shore fans! We’ve got a situation over here! It’s t-shirt time once again!
On Friday Jersey Shore cast members Mike (The Situationz0 Sorrentino and Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi announced via their social media that the crew is getting back together for a special reunion series. Over the past several weeks, there had been some speculation that a reunion was in the works but it’s now been officially confirmed.
Polizzi made the announcement on Instagram by posting a video of herself with Sorrentino, Sammi (Sweetheart) Giancola, Jenni (JWoww) Farley and Pauly (DJ Pauly D) Delvecchio all driving together in a car while rocking out to the series’ theme song LMFAO’s Get Crazy. Her post, accompanied with the following caption, even includes the reunion series premiere date, “ITS HAPPENING GUYS! August 20 on E! with my Best Friends! Love my roomies forever ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #JERZDAYISHERE”.
Sorrentino also posted to his Instagram account. He posted an adorable group photo with the caption, “August 20th 🇮🇹#reunionroadtrip,” while also tagging his Jersey Shore crew.
The original series aired on MTV from 2009 to 2012 and also starred Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick. At this time, it’s unclear if they will also be returning for the reunion series but, who knows. Maybe we’ll be surprised!
The reunion special will air on August 20th on E so, make sure you have your G.T.L. done before it premieres.
