‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Officially Kicks Off Production with Teaser Video

Marvel just made a big announcement regarding two of its tiniest superheroes and the internet is buzzing with excitement.

On Tuesday, the studio announced that production has officially kicked off for the upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp.  Marvel cleverly made the announcement via the adorable teaser video below.  Check it out:

The sequel to the 2015 film Ant-Man will feature Paul Rudd returning as the title character along with Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas.  They are joined by Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris, and David Dastmalchian who will also be reprising their roles from the first film.  New casting for the upcoming sequel includes Walton Goggins, Randall Park, Laurence Fishburne, Hannah John-Kamen, and Michelle Pfeiffer.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink: “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be flying into theaters on July 6, 2018.  Are you excited for this sequel?
