‘Arrow’: Season 6 will have plenty of ‘Personal Villains’
While we may not quite know who the Lian Yu tragedy survivors are, we do have a bit more of an insight in regards to the villains for Season 6.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wendy Mericle gave some insight on what to expect as far as this upcoming seasons villains will be like. The big bad may still be a mystery, but don’t worry… there will be plenty of personal villains to go around.
“As usual, every season we want to try to up the stakes and do something different. This will be something we’ve never seen before. The villain will be hopefully as dynamic and as interesting as the ones we’ve had in the past. These people, or this person, won’t just be somebody that’s a thorn in Oliver’s side, but it’ll effect the whole team personally and very directly,”
One rumored villain for season 6 is Ricardo Diaz, the New 52 version of Richard Dragon who, in comics, lead a team of Green Arrow’s enemies referred to as the Longbow Hunters. Another rumored villain is said to be Joe Wilson, son of Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke.
On a side note… whatever happened to that Vigilante guy??
