SDCC: Adult Swim ‘Robot Chicken’ Reveals Season 9 Trailer and ‘The Walking Dead’ Parody Special Sneak Peek

Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken is known for their ridiculously hilarious stop-motion sketches and comedy.  Earlier this year, the series delighted fans when they announced that it will be returning for a 9th season.  Actor Seth Green (“Family Guy”) and Matthew Senreich created the inappropriately hilarious comedy sketch hit which airs on Cartoon Network during Adult Swim.

Last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, the series unleashed just a little taste of what’s in store for the upcoming season.  The season 9 trailer includes a multitude of references to pop culture both popular and obscure.  For example, the trailer makes references to Mad Max, Pokemon, Jabber Jaw (remember the cartoon shark?), Homestar Runner, Donald Trump and more!  Check out the awesome trailer below:

In addition to the season 9 trailer, Robot Chicken also released a special sneak peek of their highly anticpated parody of The Walking Dead!  If our ears are telling us the truth, it sounds like Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chris Hardwick and maybe a few others lend their vocal talents to the special.  For The Walking Dead special, Green and Senreich actually collaborated with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and showrunner Scott M. Gimple to bring the bloody hilarious parody to life.  Check it out and see if you can recognize any other familiar voices:
