‘BOSCH’: Filming begins for Season 4, photos shared
Michael Connelly shared on his website that filming for the fourth season of Amazon’s original series Bosch began on July 27th.
Fans can visit the author’s website MichaelConnelly.com to get updates, photos, notes from the author, and more. He announced the start of filming for Bosch season 4 on his website today.
“Filming began on season 4 today in Los Angeles. Season 4 will continue the unfinished plot lines from season 3 and will pull elements from Angels Flight.” – Michael Connelly
The author and Bosch executive producer also shared photos here from the day’s filming along with the quote above. The photos shared on Michael’s website show both Harry Bosch and Jerry Edgar. But interestingly, we do not see them in the same frame. Fans are anxious to learn the status of the two detectives’ partnership.
[Season 3 spoiler alert] Jerry confronted Harry at the end of season 3 about his eyewitness knowledge of Ed Gunn’s murder. Doubts were raised and loyalties were questioned. Only time will tell if the pair will continue working together.
Meanwhile, several Instagram posts surfaced showing cast going back to work like as well as a new character, Detective Snyder, played by Sons of Anarchy veteran, Winter Ave Zoli. [Correction: Winter Ave Zoli did also appear in Bosch season 3 as Sgt. Amy Snyder.] Note the proximity of her chair to that of Harry’s. Might they be working together on a case this season? I cannot wait to find out.

Actor Jamie Hector also shared a photo about the series filming again.
Finally, DaJuan Johnson who plays Detective Pierce on Bosch, also shared a pic on Instagram cracking a joke about the infamous “murse” his character carried in season 3.
The cast is quite active on social media, so watch for their posts and behind the scenes photos.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bosch season 4!
