The MCU got a lot Bigger at the D23 Expo – See the Black Order

The MCU is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2018 and what better way to commemorate the occasion than to unleash one of the most incredible films in the comic book realm, or any realm for that matter, packed full of our favorite superheroes?

That’s precisely how Marvel plans to celebrate and during the D23 Expo, the first trailer for that epic film was shown. Avengers: Infinity War packed such a punch that the crowd was brought to their feet with roaring applause and honestly, we aren’t surprised. The MCU has made a concrete place for itself in the film industry and with Infinity War, they’re doing something absolutely incredible.

With such strong forces of power, there clearly have to be strong forces of evil and with Thanos in the picture, there’s no shortage of evil. However, it wouldn’t seem right if all of our favorite superheroes were just up against one bad guy, right? Even if that bad guy is the ultimate evil.

At the D23 Expo, the Black Order was introduced and the crowd went wild. As a new group of alien villains, the Black Order will be making their MCU debut in Avengers: Infinity War.

New Avengers Vol. 3 No. 8, in 2013, was the first time fans were introduced to the Black Order, and they stand as the only group worthy of being likened to Thanos in terms of threat and power. It’s not going to be an easy fight for the Avengers.

In the film, the Black Order consists of Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Thanos, Ebony Maw, and Black Dwarf. In the photo below, they’re listed left to right.

Their debut was so secretive that they were hidden behind a curtain until the big moment when the reveal took place. It was one of the most exciting things to come out of the Disney expo thus far. Thanos himself, Josh Brolin, was eating up playing the villain at the expo this afternoon and you can tell just how excited he is to release his ‘children’ into the war.

With this big news and the information we got on the premise of the trailer earlier today, we have to say that we were already more excited than we can say about the film, but now, it’s a whole new ballgame.
