Kevin Feige Talks Spiderman and Unusual Pairings in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
Kevin Feige has been incredibly busy lately; from Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s upcoming debut to Avengers: Infinity War filming in Atlanta – he’s working around the clock. It’s not something unexpected, the Marvel Universe is constantly in motion, and he’s working on some of the most anticipated films of our time.
In interviews, Feige has been asked about Infinity War and not given much information away, which is something we’re happy about. For as curious as we are, it’s worth the wait. However, Feige did give a bit of information out in terms of the film and we’re really excited about two of the statements he made.
The first one is where he says we should expect some pairings, unlike anything we’ve seen before on-screen. He also says Spider-Man will be part of Infinity War, which is something we knew, but we’re really looking forward to seeing how big of a role he’ll play.
‘Not much. But Spider-Man will be there. We’re filming in Atlanta right now. It’s going very well. It’s going very well and every day there are shots, there are images, there are pairing of characters you’ve never seen before on-screen that, again, I’m very lucky to do what I do. I’m very thankful to do what I do. I do it because I geek out for these moments. I geek out for a moment like this, debuting a Spider-Man in the MCU for the first time. In Infinity War, every single shot of every single scene is a geek out moment.‘
We can’t wait to see Spider-Man: Homecoming but after that last statement from Feige, we really…really…can’t wait to see Infinity War. We’re ready for every single geek out moment they’ve got in store for us.
