Chandler Riggs was almost in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
Spider-Man: Homecoming is less than a week away. We are all anxious to see Tom Holland in the role of Spider-Man, but did you know that he had some steep competition to beat for the role.
Some other stars wanted to portray the web-slinger; Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield and The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs.
Can you imagine Carl Grimes as Spider-Man?
good luck to whoever lands spiderman role- it would've been awesome for me! #CaptainAmericaCivilWar @TheWalkingDead pic.twitter.com/msg9fPvckc

Chandler announced way back in 2015 that he had auditioned but hinted that he didn’t get the part. Maybe we’ll see him in a different Marvel role in the future.
Even though Tom won the role, how would the character be different if played by Chandler? It makes sense that Tom is Spider-Man, because he played him in Captain America: Civil War. We still can’t help but be a little curious.
