Check Out New Photos of ‘The Walking Dead’ Star Ross Marquand from the Short Film ‘Hajji’

The cast of AMC’s The Walking Dead is made up of some of the most talented individuals in the acting world today.  We love watching them bring their characters to life each Sunday during the seasons but, we also love to watch them take on other projects and characters outside of The Walking Dead universe.

Ross Marquand is a man of countless talents and many impressions as well.  On The Walking Dead, we watch him flawlessly portray the role of Aaron and bring to life the drama and suspense of the apocalyptic world.  Marquand, however, will be featured in an upcoming short film in which his character deals with the drama and suspense based in the reality of war in the Middle East.

The name of the film is Hajji and it tells the story of two soldiers dealing with the struggles and violence that come along with modern day warfare.  The soldiers played by Marquand and Dayo Okeniyi (Shades of Blue), find themselves interacting with a local family, however, their dealings are met with unfortunate circumstances ultimately leading up to violent encounters and dangerous situations.  The film was written and directed by R.H. Norman and is based on true events and stories from war.  David Lawson Jr. of Snowfort Pictures is signed on as a producer for the film and says he was drawn to the project because of his time served in the U.S. Air Force.

Entertainment Weekly first featured this story along with an exclusive first look at photos of Marquand and Okeniyi from the film.  Check out the photos in the gallery below:

This looks like an emotional and suspenseful film that we won’t want to miss!  Hajji also stars Maddie Rien, Ray Haratian (Argo), Dajan Ahmad, Bahara Golestani, and Rajeev Chhibber.  Micheline Pitt, Sean McDaniel, Christopher Ely, Damir Omic, and John Thomas Schrad of ReKon Productions will produce along with Okeniyi, Marquand, Lawson, and Norman.

Hajji will begin making the rounds on the film festival circuit starting in 2018.
