Kevin Feige Confirms ‘Infinity War’ Will be the ‘Final Chapter’ for MCU Regulars

If you want to be totally surprised by what happens with Marvel’s ‘Infinity War’, you may not want to continue reading this, although what Kevin Feige confirmed recently isn’t EXACTLY a spoiler. It’s more of a statement that solidifies things that many fans were already thinking.

Rumors have been flying that Chris Evans and Robert Downy Jr. are soon to be hanging up their suits in the Marvel universe and the simple one-word answer by Feige is what fans are using to confirm that. Or at least, point to that heavily.

During a press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Feige was asked directly if Infinity War would be the final chapter for ‘some’ MCU heroes, and his answer was ‘yes’. However, he didn’t leave the focus there, instead, he brought it back to what’s happening now, which is what’s most important anyway.

We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and they [the actors] have a lot of hard work to do, so that’s all we’re thinking about, is completing those and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we’ll see.

Neither Chris nor Robert have made statements confirming or denying their future as Captain America and Iron Man respectively, but fans are aware that their contracts are seemingly up. There’s no telling what the future holds, but Chris said he agreed to Infinity War because it ‘wraps everything up.’

What do you think of Kevin’s answer? Are you thinking Iron Man and Captain America will be finished, or are you expecting a curve ball and other superheroes hanging up their hats instead – or as well? Let us know.
