Gaming: ‘Friday the 13th’ Game Giving Away A TON of Free DLC’s
A major criticism that the Friday the 13th: The Game has been receiving is criticism over the server issues. In the past, the game would crash several times, or just plain not load a match at all. Now, TODAY, publisher Gun Media is going to be giving away a lot of free DLC’s in addition to several other items as an apology for all of the server issues.
Check out the trailer that Gun Media released, to promote all of the freebee’s:

In addition to a free Jason character (normally you have to keep leveling up to unlock the different types of Jason), gamers will also we able to get new clothing for their counselors, as well as 13,000 free customization points.
Also, everyone will be able to partake in the double XP scheduled event for the weekend, which will be running from June 23-25.
Originally, the online game was expected to gather a few Friday the 13th loyalist to download and participate in the game, and to the publisher’s surprise, it wound up being a bigger dream than they ever expected:
“Overall, Gun Media is very thankful to our fans, supporters, and those interested in the game. We were completely overwhelmed by the amount of users that tried to play at launch, enough to break our servers and force us to upgrade. That process has evened out since then, however we are still working to smooth out the experience even more across all three platforms.”
If you have yet to play the game, or are on the fence about downloading it, be sure to check out our official review of the game!
