WATCH: Spike’s ‘The Mist’ Character Profile: “Meet Kevin Copeland”

The countdown is on!  We are now just over one week away from the premiere of Spike TV’s reimagining of Stephen King’s The Mist.  Spike is continuing to give fans some awesome insights into the main characters we will follow throughout the series.  A few weeks ago, we met Eve Copeland (played by Vikings star Alyssa Sutherland).  In Spike’s most recent character profile, we get to meet Kevin Copeland (played by Boardwalk Empire star Morgan Spector.

Kevin is a man with high morals and beliefs that anger and prejudice should never, ever win.  He is described as modern, liberal and civilized and as someone who cares deeply for his wife (Eve Copeland) and his daughter.  As the protagonist of the series and, just by knowing that he’s the moral compass already makes us fear for his well-being and, when the mist begins to take over the town of Bridgeville, his conscience and morality will be tested as he battles for his survival and the safety of his wife and child.

The series stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Frances Conroy.  The official synopsis for Spikes The Mist is below:

Based on a story by Stephen King, Spike’s THE MIST centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.
