WATCH: New Terrifying Trailer for Spike’s ‘The Mist’

Spike TV released a brand new trailer for its upcoming TV series adaptation of Stephen King’s The Mist.  The trailer, entitled “Out There,” explores the mystery involved in the story and gives audiences a glimpse of the terrors that lie just beyond the visibility of the story’s characters.

The trailer starts out just before the mysterious mist takes over a quiet, small town.  After the mist rolls in however, all hell breaks loose.  Six people have been mysteriously killed.  Society begins to shut down as the mist begins to take over in extremely terrifying ways.

Fair warning, there’s something out there….. and this trailer will make you jump with fright!  Check it out, if you dare.

The series stars Morgan Spector, Alyssa Sutherland, Gus Birney, Danica Curcic, Okezie Morro, Luke Cosgrove, Darren Pettie, Russell Posner, Dan Butler, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Frances Conroy.  The official synopsis for Spikes The Mist is below:

Based on a story by Stephen King, Spike’s THE MIST centers around a small town family that is torn apart by a brutal crime. As they deal with the fallout an eerie mist rolls in, suddenly cutting them off from the rest of the world and, in some cases, each other. Family, friends and adversaries become strange bedfellows, battling the mysterious mist and its threats, fighting to maintain morality and sanity as the rules of society break down.

The Mist premieres Thursday, June 22nd on Spike.  In case you missed it, you can check out the first trailer HERE and watch an in-depth character profile of Eve Copland (played by Vikings star Alyssa Sutherland).  Will you be watching?
