Nielsen Social Ratings: May 29 – June 4
Another week, another top 10 Nielsen Social chart!
The summer season is kicking in and that means that while some of our favorite regular season shows will be on hiatus, reality television and variety will rule the charts for a bit before the summer dramas and sitcoms start debuting.
Taking the number one spot this week was NBC’s America’s Got Talent with over 450,000 interactions. WWE events took three spots on this week’s top 10 as WWE Extreme Rules came in at number two, WWE Monday Night RAW came in at number three, and WWE SmackDown! took the number seven spot.
The Bachelorette took the number four spot with 192,000 interactions while the Scripps Spelling Bee took the number six spot.
As a refresher: the Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 10 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
