Check out This Mjolnir Photo from the Avengers: Infinity War Set
Two years ago, Chris Evans made a statement on how Captain America: Civil War would lead into Avengers: Infinity War. It was prior to the beginning of filming for Civil War and while comic book fans already know what to look for and what to expect, those who don’t keep up with the comics were excited to see how the film would progress.
‘Captian America: Civil War is the jump-off into The Avengers: The Infinity War. Civil War is going to be the setup for the real battle. So yeah, there are a lot of people – a lot of people in Cap 3.’
Since Chris made that statement, and even before, Marvel fans have been looking forward to Avengers: Infinity War and now we’re finally beginning to see some pieces of the film as it comes together. Not long ago, there was a behind the scenes video released and there have been tidbits of information about characters we’ll absolutely see, rumored characters, and even some battles that will take place during the film.
Today, The Russo Brothers posted a photo of Mjolnir on their Instagram page and we’re a bit confused. In the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, Helena absolutely destroys Mjolnir in a moment that made all of our jaws drop. This has left fans to wonder what exactly happens in the film. We don’t want to get into theories or try to explain it to a point where we can’t enjoy the film as it progresses, but it does leave room for questions on time manipulation and if we’ll be seeing unexplored cosmos within the Marvel Universe.

What we do know is that we’re willing to wait until 2018 to see exactly what happens in Avengers: Infinity War and that we’re more excited by the day for the film to truly get into production.
