Chris Pratt Plays Speak Out on Ellen and It Takes a Naughty Turn

Chris Pratt appeared on Friday’s Ellen show to promote his film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which in out in theaters now.

The two spoke about how now one thought that GOTG2 would be a success at all. They asked Pratt if he was prepared to be in Marvel’s first failure…Well, I bet those people are eating those words right about now.

When Ellen asks Pratt about him being the only character that doesn’t have to deal with the makeup like the others, he jokingly says,

“It’s so awesome. I roll into set and I’m like, ‘Hey, How ya guys doin’?’, and they’ve already been there for like 5 hours getting makeup put on. I’m like, ‘No, I know it’s hard. I had to get my sideburns cut down so, it’s very difficult for me as well.'”

He later goes on to say that him being on the front of snack packages like Doritos is a “cruel twist of fate…I never wanted to have Doritos more and I’m on ’em and I can’t even eat ’em.” He explains how he has to be on a diet and has food delivered because if he didn’t it would be like dropping the whole container of fish food to feed a fish. That they don’t know when to stop and die and that if he were to be trapped in a Sizzler over the weekend, it would be over for him but he thinks it would be a good way to go.

After a commercial break and in honor of Mother’s Day, Pratt and Ellen play his mother’s favorite game, Speak Out, where he wears a dental device and reads a phrase. Ellen has to guess the phrase. After a couple, things suddenly take a hilarious turn to the naughty side…Watch below:

Pratt is currently filming Jurassic World 2 which was just recently announced is more than halfway completed. 

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is still currently out in theaters.
