New Alien: Covenant Teaser See’s The Return Of Facehuggers
By now it is known that Ridley Scott is using his upcoming film Alien: Covenant to highlight the horror conventions we all love from the original 1979 Alien, following backlash on the film’s 2012 prequel, Prometheus.
Today, 20th Century Fox have released a brand new teaser that marks the return of another frightening creature, the facehugger. Following John Hurt’s death in Alien, we know that the life-span after being attacked by a facehugger is rather short, and ends pretty painfully.
In the clip, it see’s Demian Bichir‘s character being attacked by the deadly creature before it is ripped of his face by a brave member of Covenant. So perhaps it doesn’t mean he will end up having a chest-burster moment, but knowing Scott these two crew members might not be around for much longer.
