Liam Payne Reveals Preview of Debut Solo Single ‘Strip That Down’
For months, fans of One Direction were seemingly in a drought while waiting to see what solo projects Harry, Louis, Liam, and Niall would take on. It wasn’t until mid-2016 that we heard the first solo project from Niall, followed by Louis, then Harry, and now…it’s Liam’s turn to shine.
Did we say shine? We meant completely blow you out of the water. Liam has been talking solo music for months but he’s also been working on it hard to perfect it. Fans expected some hip hop flavor in Liam’s tracks and from the snippet he released today, they were right. His first song is a collaboration with Quavo from Migos and it is a banger, well…the 20 second peek we got into the tune sounds like a banger.

It’s hard to have 20 seconds of a song stuck in your head, but it’s happening right now. May 19th seems like a bit of a wait but it’ll be worth it to finally hear the song Liam wanted to debut his solo project with. That’s a huge deal. Many artists have spoken about collaborating with Liam, and while we know nothing about his album yet, what songs will make the cut, or if he’ll be a feature on the songs of other artists, we do anticipate a lot more of him in the music industry very soon.
Another tune we can expect is one that Liam and Ed Sheeran worked on, so…we need that as soon as possible also.
