Wow, a lot of The Walking Dead April birthdays…here’s another. Today, our very own Dale Horvath himself, Jeffrey Demunn is turning 70 years young!!
Born in Buffalo, New York in 1947, Jeffrey is an accomplished film, television and stage actor who is best known for his role as Dale on AMC’s The Walking Dead. The character of Dale was killed off in season 2.
Demunn has a well known professional relationship with director Frank Darabont, who has cast him in such films as The Mist, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, The Majestic and The Blob (1988) in which Darabont co-wrote.
Some of his television work besides The Walking Dead include Moonlighting, The West Wing, LA Law, Kojak, Law and Order and Mob City.
Jeffrey currently lives in New York where he lives with his wife, Kerry Leah. He has 2 children named Heather and Kevin and has a cat and a dog.
