Supergirl Preview ‘Ace Reporter’

We’re five episodes away from the season two finale of Supergirl and it looks like things are really heating up. Rhea will be after Kara with a vengeance for keeping Mon-El from going back to rule Daxam. In the trailer, we also have a shot of Kara going head-to-head with the President, who is in her alien form. Kara is then shown asking someone how they knew she was Supergirl. There are a couple of people this could be, including the President, Lena Luthor, or perhaps even Lillian Luthor.
Perhaps the most interesting part of the teaser is a man saying, “I’ve been waiting a long time for this.” We see the back of the man’s head and rumors have been circulating that this marks the return of Maxwell Lord, who has been absent since the season one finale. We know that he was involved with Cadmus in some way, so maybe he’s been in the shadows and working alongside Lillian this whole time.
I’m interested to see how things will play out as we head into the finale.
