AMC has recently released Key Art for the upcoming season 3 of Fear The Walking Dead. The new poster shows Nick Clark, portrayed by Frank Dillane, in a profile pose with his face covered with blood. The “Fear What You Become” tagline most likely represents one’s fear or struggle with becoming who or what they most fear in their lives while adjusting to this new world. What lengths will you go to to stay alive or keep the ones you love alive? Could you and/or would you kill? Could you do the unimaginable if faced with it?

It was also announced last week that although current executive producer Dave Erickson would be stepping down, Scott M Gimple, who is the current showrunner of The Walking Dead, will be joining Fear as EP. He will join Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) who will be co-showrunners for season 4. You can read more about that announcement and more additions to the series HERE.
Without giving away details from the past 2 seasons, those who have survived thus far must either come to terms with what they have done or have become (hence, the tagline), try to reconnect with loved ones that are lost in more ways than one, finding oneself and the ability to survive and can you survive alone?, and finding out that one is not as invincible and one thought.
With Gimple on board for season 4, I hope that he brings Fear the Walking Dead as much success as he has done with the mothership, The Walking Dead.
Fear The Walking Dead is set to premiere on Sunday, June 4th with back-to-back episodes at 9pm ET/PT on AMC.
