The honey-loving, lovable stuffed bear has been adored by children and adults alike around the world since Milne first illustrated him 1926.

The film stars Domhnall Gleeson as the British author himself, along with Margot Robbie as his wife, Daphne. The filmdelves into the relationship between Milne and his son, Christopher Robin, and the toys that inspired Milne to write.

Fox Searchlight has announced a November 10 release date for Goodbye Christopher Robin. The timing is perfect, considering it is extremely close to Thanksgiving weekend, when most families head to the theaters for holiday family events.

Milne, A World War I veteran, created Winnie the Pooh and the characters of the Hundred Acre Wood after becoming enchanted with watching his son play with his toys. What started in a small town in England, eventually grew to become a world-wide phenomenon.

Gleeson and Robbie are two of the most recognizable stars working today, and they will certainly draw quite the crowd for this upcoming fall Blockbuster. Added with the connection to Winnie the Pooh, the chances for box office success, and even awards success, are certainly high for the film.
