‘Arrow’: Nyssa Returns for Epic ‘Al Ghul’ Showdown

Arrow Season 5 just got even more exciting, as we received news today that Katrina Law will be making her return as Nyssa on the hit CW  TV Series.

EW is reporting that Katrina Law will be returning in the finale for an epic showdown against her half-sister, Talia al Ghul. Talia trained both Oliver and Adrian in the art of mixed arts; first Oliver in Russia and then Adrian after she discovered that not only had Oliver killed Adrian’s father… he had killed her father, Ra’s Al Ghul as well.

Ever since Talia’s introduction, the eventuality of an epic showdown between the pair has been highly anticipated. “They’re close enough and different enough that I would love, at some point, to do a story with Nyssa and Talia,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim previously told EW.

I would have to agree with this statement; as I have also been highly anticipating this showdown between the pair. I mean, technically Oliver is still her husband, so what better excuse than to go and throw-down against Talia. Their relationship was never fully disclosed on the show, so I’m excited to see if there is more of a history between the two of them.

Arrow will return on April 26th at 8PM/EST on The CW.
