In a statement, Paul Shefrin, a representative for Rickles, said:

Rickles also had great success as an actor and best-selling author.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara, as well as their daughter Mindy Mann and her husband Ed, and Rickles’ two grandchildren, Ethan and Harrison Mann.”

Don Rickles made his film debut in 1958 in a drama called Run Silent Run Deep.  He rose to fame in the 1960’s by starring in several other films and making frequent appearances on The Tonight Show and The Dean Martin Show.  He became a staple on Dean Martin’s Celebrity Roasts and even  had his own TV show, The Don Rickles Show. Additionally, he also was a regular on The Dick Van Dyke Show, and Gilligan’s Island.  Most recently, he voiced the role of Mr. Potato Head in the Toy Story films.
