Nielsen Social Ratings: March 27 – April 2

Happy Monday (and Opening Day)!

Nielsen Social Ratings are in as The 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards took the number one spot this week. The Walking Dead‘s season seven finale took the number two spot with over 1.8 million interactions.

HBO’s Big Little Lies made its Social Ratings debut in the limited series’ finale, scoring the number eight spot with over 200,000 interactions.

Over in the wrestling world, both Smackdownand Monday Night RAW made the list at number 10 and number five, respectively. A major wrestling event that was missing from both the series and sports list was Wrestlemania 33.

As a refresher: the Content Ratings use the total number of social interactions across Facebook and Twitter to rank the top 10 series/specials and sporting events, separately. The chart includes uniques, which are “unique social media accounts that have authored original content related to a linear TV episode or engaged with that content,” and interactions, which are “original social media posts related to a linear TV episode and the engagement with that content.”
