Fan Fest Fuzzies: Watch These Goofballs Play in the Snow As We Say Bye to Winter!
First day of spring was this past Monday, March 20, and I think most of us are ready to say ‘BUH BYE’ to winter! Before we move on to warmer days, I thought it fitting to highlight some video posts that we have seen over the course of this season capturing animals enjoying this winter. Like kids in a candy store, the excitement they display is contagious. You cannot help but enjoy the snowy weather along with them!
As adults (and humans), we might not always be so thrilled when snowy weather hits us, but watching our furry friends having a blast in their own quirky way was enough to inspire us to forget the negatives of winter! While there were many adorable posts, the one from The Dodo made my day. An otter and a rescue dog sliding down a snowy hill had me reliving that childhood moment, where throwing yourself down a hill didn’t come with all the worry of possible injuries. The carefree spirits of a cow, bear, and horse making their own versions of ‘snow angels’ definitely put a smile on my face. Also touching is the clip of the dog seeing snowflakes for the first time. Finally, the last critter you would expect to have some fun in the icy cold is a cat trying to catch some falling snow chunks! Watch these furry friends amuse themselves as we say farewell to winter and hello to spring!
