Buckle Up! ‘Carpool Karaoke: The Series’ is Coming to Apple Music

Carpool Karaoke started out as a skit between James Corden and the late, great George Michael for a charity telethon.  Eventually, it became a big hit as a popular segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden and, now, the pop culture sensation is getting its own series!

If you are not familiar with the segment, the premise is simple.  Corden is on his way to work and picks up a celebrity to help him get there. During their travels, they chat, hang out and TOTALLY rock out, singing to the radio because, in the car, everyone is a karaoke superstar, even legit superstars!

The trailer for the series is jam-packed with celebrities including John Legend, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Seth MacFarlane, Shaquille O’Neal, John Cena, Metallica and much, MUCH more!  Corden, himself, appears in what’s sure to be an epic episode as the trailer shows him rapping along with the theme to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with the Fresh Prince himself, Will Smith.  Later on, the duo takes things to new heights by singing I Believe I can Fly while carpooling in a helicopter!

If you love the segment on The Late Late Show (which we TOTALLY do), we think it’s safe to say you’ll love Carpool Karaoke: The Series.   Though an official release date has not been set, you can sing along with the official trailer below!
