What to Watch: Films from February 10th

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been a little MIA for a couple weeks. My mother passed away and I felt it appropriate to take some time off to be with family. I am now back in full swing, so you can look forward to seeing my lovely voice on a regular basis again.

Because this post is a little late, and most of you know what films were released this weekend, I will also be giving you how well the film did 🙂

The top grossing film of the weekend was The LEGO Batman Movie followed by Fifty Shades Darker and John Wick: Chapter 2 nabbing 2nd and 3rd place. Jolly LLB 2  landed at 16, Duckweed at 34 The United Kingdom at 41, Kedi at 45, and Land of Mine wrapped it up at number 48.

Funny enough, 3 years ago this very weekend, The LEGO Movie was the top grossing film and now The LEGO Batman Movie is following the trend.

The LEGO Batman Movie

Bruce Wayne must not only deal with the criminals of Gotham City, but also the responsibility of raising a boy he adopted.

Fifty Shades Darker

While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her.

John Wick: Chapter 2

After returning to the criminal underworld to repay a debt, John Wick discovers that a large bounty has been put on his life.

Jolly LLB 2

Jolly is a clumsy lawyer who is faced with representing the most critical court case of his career.

The United Kingdom

Prince Seretse Khama of Botswana causes an international stir when he marries a white woman from London in the late 1940s.

Kedi

A profile of an ancient city and its unique people, seen through the eyes of the most mysterious and beloved animal humans have ever known, the Cat.
