Since its premiere after Superbowl 51, 24: Legacy intrigued us and then left us wanting more. The spin-off follows Army Ranger Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins) as he attempts to thwart one of the largest terror attacks on America orchestrated by the son of terrorist leader Bin-Khalid with the help of the CTU. With new questions being raised each week, one thing is very clear: No one can be trusted.

WARNING: SPOILERS

This week picks up with Carter still trapped inside the police station, desperately searching for a way out in order to trade the $2 million he stole from the evidence lockup for a flash drive containing a list of terrorist sleeper cells currently in the possession of his former Army buddy Ben (who’s loco cuckoo bananas meter skyrocketed since last week). Using an explosive device that he strapped to one of the officers, Carter is able to make his way out of the evidence room thanks to the other officer telling him there was a staircase behind one of the walls that led to the exit. Slight problem though: As soon as the Captain finds out Carter escaped, he orders the precinct be locked down and SWAT storms in faster than you can say guacamole. Just when it looked like Carter would be put down, El Capitan orders them to stand down because he called CTU and Rebecca Ingram (Miranda Otto) was able to verify his story after being cleared by active director Keith Mullins (Teddy Sears). FYI: Mullins is not the leak and Andy (the analyst helping Rebecca) was also cleared. Oh yeah, he and Agent Thomas Locke (Bailey Chase) were also in a relationship.

Meanwhile, at Isaac’s crib, Aisha grew more suspicious of Nicole, who starts piecing her betrayal of Isaac together once she sees Royo’s (the dude Issac is currently heading to meet for a drug deal) number in Aisha’s call log. Unbeknownst to Aisha, Eric gets CTU to transcribe the call, which they send to Nicole’s phone. Once Nicole finally hears the actual conversation, she frantically tries to warn Isaac but is interrupted by Aisha who demands to know what she was doing. Nicole tries to play it off but Aisha tells her to hand the phone over, which she reluctantly does. Nicole isn’t the only one who was almost caught red-handed though; Mr. Harris (the weird, pervy teacher) and Amira (the high school terrorist) suffered some major setbacks of their own in trying to dispose of Drew’s body.

As they were cleaning up, another student knocked on Harris’ door and asked if he could go over her exam with her but he quickly dismissed her saying he had another student to “tend” to. As they were about to pick up where they left off, SURPRISE! Drew literally got up and walked away while their backs were turned! He was able to make it to the soccer field before collapsing behind the bleachers, at which point Harris and Amira hurried to carry him on back to the classroom. But wait! A student stumbled upon Drew when she kicked her soccer ball a few inches next to his head and shouted out for help to her fellow teammates. Darn those meddling kids! Eventually, 911 was called and the paramedics loaded a stable Drew into the ambulance; unfortunately, Amira rode along with him as his “distraught” girlfriend in order to “finish the job.”

24: LEGACY: L-R: Miranda Otto and Jimmy Smits in the “2:00 PM-3:00 PM” episode of 24: LEGACY airing Saturday, Feb. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2017 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Guy D’Alema/FOX

Before Carter could make the deal with Ben, Ingram followed up on the lead that her husband John’s campaign manager Nilaa leaked the Rangers’ identities to Khalid’s son, Jadalla. Her theory seems to be confirmed when John (Jimmy Smits) tells her his opponent Gage was planning to release an ad campaign linking Nilaa to a radical mosque. Although Nilaa denies everything, things escalate when Rebecca shows her footage of her entering campaign headquarters at the exact same time the system logged the Ranger’s files being accessed. She swears it’s impossible and she’s right. A few doors down, Donovan’s family friend Luis admitted that he changed the time stamp of the video to frame Nilaa so that CTU would never suspect one of the people closest and dearest to John: his father Henry! *GIANT GASP* Yes, that’s right: Henry sold out the Rangers and is throwing Nilaa under the bus. But why? Well, he agreed to frame Nilaa so that John’s campaign wouldn’t be “burned down to the ground,” but we mean why did he sell out the Rangers?!

Downtown, the time finally arrived for Carter to make the deal with Grimes but Ben being Ben, wasn’t going to make things easy for him. Instructed by Ben, Eric boarded the metro line and both men rode for several stops to the location of the drive. However, just as Carter was about to exchange the money for the drive, Agent Locke swooped in when he realized that there were several hostiles already waiting for Carter and Ben at the station. Fearing he was set up, Ben clocks Carter in the head with his gun and runs off with the money right into the clutches of Jadalla and his men. Having been shot in the shoulder, Jadalla kicks an incapacitated Grimes and steals the hard drive from his person, leading Carter to give chase on foot. It seemed as if Eric was about to catch up to him when a car suddenly grazed him, giving Jadalla the opportunity to make his getaway by van. Is it crazy that we thought Tony was going to be in the van?
