Teri Hatcher To Play Villain in ‘Supergirl’ Season 2
So it seems that actress Teri Hatcher hasn’t quite had enough of the DC Universe. It was announced that she will be joining the cast of Supergirl for their second season.
Hatcher is no stranger to the Superman franchise. For four years she played Lois Lane in Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from ’93 to ’97, as well as Ella Lane, Lois’ mother, on Smallville in 2010. Dean Cain, who played Clark Kent/Superman, also has appeared, playing Kara’s foster father in the series.
The actress will be involved in a multi-episode arc which has her portraying a new major villain for the CBS show’s sophomore season.
Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter and Brenda Strong, Hatcher’s former co-star on Desperate Housewives will also have guest starring roles during this season.
