WATCH: Chris Pratt and Jimmy Fallon in ‘Mad Lib Theater’ – Holiday Edition

Mr. Plum in the billiards room with the candlestick? Hmmm. How about Ding-Dongs the elf in the starship with the doinker? That seems much more believable don’t you think?

NBC

While visiting the Tonight Show promoting his new film Passengers, Chris Pratt participated in Jimmy Fallon’s new skit called Mad Libs Theater and the results are amazing.

The way that Mad Libs Theater works is Jimmy asks his guest to give him a bunch of words that fit into a category such as an adjective, body part, an animal, a measure of time, etc.. These words are filled into a story that Jimmy and his guest act out immediately after. He had previously done this with Benedict Cumberbatch and it was absolutely hysterical. I’ve included that video below as well.

Pratt was an excellent choice for this sketch as most of his answers did not disappoint.  Some of them included:

  • Silly Word: Doinker
  • Animal: Gerbils
  • Dessert: Ding-Dongs
  • Year: 200 A.D.
  • Celebrity: Jennifer Lawrence
  • Plant: Apple Tree
  • Adjective: Demure
  • Pet Name: Pickles

The story takes place in Santa’s Workshop where Santa (Pratt) has accused his elf Ding-Dongs (Fallon) of stealing his favorite toy, the doinker. Watch the video below to see if Ding-Dongs is actually guilty of the crime.

I’d challenge you to try and do a better job at keeping a straight face than these two did, but it’s nearly impossible.
