Is Chandler Riggs going to College?

Carl Grimes has been through a lot: hordes of walkers, multiple gun shots, losing an eye, his first kiss and even killing his mother. But now he may be facing a bigger challenge- lawyers.

You may have seen the Instagram post that Chandler Rigg’s father posted about a week ago. It was about Chandler’s 7 year contract being up and it left quite a few fans concerned and confused, because it left Carl’s fate up in the air. Here’s Chandler’s dad’s post below.

So could this be the end of Carl? He’ll just get killed off soon because his contract is up, right? Well, like I said, Carl’s fate is still up in the air. But there is one other possible reason with a solution, that might not involve Carl meeting an untimely demise.

Chandler tweeted earlier this month that he had been accepted to Auburn University. This led people to wonder if he will be trading in his roller blades and sheriff hat for textbooks and a meal plan.

It is realistic to consider the possibility of Chandler renewing his contract and moving on to higher education. Auburn University  isn’t terribly far from Georgia and (as much as I hate to even think about it) they could reduce his screen time to accommodate for his schooling, kind of like they did with Tara when Alana Masterson had her baby.

Whatever happens, we won’t know until it happens in the show. But if Chandler does move on to receive a higher education, what would he major in?
