‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Gets an Extended Fourth Episode
Eeny, Meeny, Miny, MORE!
Get ready for a supersized episode of The Walking Dead coming our way soon. While the first three episodes of the season have/will stay at around a runtime of 60 minutes, the fourth episode of Season 7 will be extended to a whopping 85 minutes.
The fourth episode appears to be our first visit back to our group of survivors as they head back to Alexandria after their deadly run in with Negan. From the logline for the episode, it sounds like returning home will be anything but safe and relaxing. The line reads: “The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit.”
Fans of The Walking Dead have come to know that, any departure from “the norm” could mean big trouble! Here’s to hoping Lucille’s thirst has been quenched enough now.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Andrew Lincoln commented on what we can expect to see as Season 7 progresses. His comments give us hope that this season will be much more than just barbed wire bats and bloodshed:
“All I will say is that this is a rocky road. It’s a shocking beginning to a season, but it is the beginning of a season. That’s what people have to remember. This is where we begin, after the quake. This season is about rebuilding and about characters dealing with the trauma and grief of this brutal attack, but also this new regime that they are now a part of. And each react in their own individual ways. It’s more Lord of the Rings than Lord of the Flies this season.”
The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 9pm EST on AMC. The supersized episode will be airing next weekend on November 13th.
