New York is the city that never sleeps and a place where anything can (and does) happen!  Expect the unexpected when roaming the streets of NYC however, no one could have prepared themselves for the naked Donald Trump statue that mysteriously appeared in Union Square on Thursday as well as other cities around the United States.

The statues, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Emperor’s New Clothes, depict a life-size, nude Trump with a noticeably under-exaggerated male body part.  The statue series is titled The Emperor Has No Balls.

Created by the an anarchist collective called INDECLINE, the statues are clearly a political statement that cannot be unseen, not matter how hard we try!

The statue has since been removed from Union Square but, not before the New York City Parks Department issued THE best statement ever.  Seriously!  Sam Biederman, a spokesperson for the parks department said:

“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.”

Check out the photo of the statue below and, you can check out how the statues were made by watching his strangely captivating and satisfying video on the INDECLINE website however, we warn you, once you’ve seen it, you can’t unsee it.

What do you think of these crazy and creepy statues?
