Get ready to add some great classics to your home collections! Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced on Wednesday that, for the first time ever, Stephen King’s classics Salem’s Lot, It and Cat’s Eye will be released on Blu-ray.
Originally written by King, Salem’s Lot and It were transformed into two miniseries which have been terrifying audiences for decades. Salem’s Lot was originally released in 1979. It was originally released in 1990 and will be rebooted with a 2017 release date. Cat’s Eye was originally released in 1985 starring Drew Barrymore and James Woods.
Cat’s Eye will include a commentary from filmmaker Lewis Teague and It will include commentary with Richard Thomas (who played Bill Denbrough in the miniseries), among others. Meanwhile, Salem’s Lot is said to include an all-new commentary from acclaimed director, Tobe Hooper. All Blu-rays will be equipped with the full length features shown in remastered high-def.
The trio of terror will be available on Blu-ray on September 20, 2016. Which Stephen King classic are you most excited to own on Blu-ray?
