Steelers RB DeAngelo Williams Throws a ‘The Walking Dead’ Themed Wedding
Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is a huge fan of The Walking Dead. So much so that, when he and his now wife were engaged, they planned to do a zombie themed engagement photo shoot. Due to issues with timing and the shoot interfering with football season, that never happened however, when the couple officially tied the knot, they did so in true walker fashion.
Williams, his wife and their entire wedding party all dressed like zombies for the special day. We’re talking full on blood, guts, gore and more! ESPN was on hand to capture the entire day and created the below video which Williams posted on Twitter.
The bridal party looks pretty good and you can clearly see that they all had a ton of fun with the theme. For Williams, it meant so much to him, not only to be marrying the woman he loves but to also be living out a fantasy of becoming a walker. He told ESPN:
“It is a dream come true. It is unbelievable. And what makes it even more magical was not only did I become a Walker, but I became a husband and inherited a beautiful wife.”
