Fox May Be Considering Marvel Deal-Will X-Men Join Avengers?
20th Century Fox and Marvel are apparently steps closer to a deal that would allow some characters to cross over.
Collider Heroes released a youtube clip last week where Matt Key, a producer on Kevin Smith’s Fatman On Batman podcast hunted at the collision.
“I’ve heard from a few of my sources, my little birds that Fox and Marvel have … kind of talked, but not really, but like there’s interest from Fox, like, ‘Ooh, y’know, what they did with Sony and Spider-Man is actually pretty cool, like, maybe …”
This sounds super exciting-just think-Wolverine, Deadpool, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor and all the X-Men.
Unfortunately, Key added that we are a while away from seeing this come to fruition.
“We’re years away from that ever possibly happening. But I think that’s what it would take … Fox joining hands with Marvel.” If this happened soon, the most plausible would be X-Men combining with Avengers.
This was fueled mores or by Spider-Man appearing in Captain America: Civil War.
With what Key said, we should take this rumor very lightly, but the thought is pretty cool.
