Maisie Richardson-Sellers Cast As Vixen In Legends of Tomorrow
Meet your new Vixen!
ComicBook.com is reporting that Maisie Richardson-Sellers (The Originals, Of Kings and Prophets) will play Amaya Jiwe, granddaughter of Mari McCabe, the original Vixen (played by Megalyn Echikunwoke).
“Amaya Jiwe – better known as Vixen – is the newest superhero to board the Waverider and join the ranks of the Legends of Tomorrow,” said The CW and WBTV’s official character description. “Like her grandmother, Mari McCabe, Amaya’s powers are derived from the mysterious Tantu Totem, which allows her to magically access the abilities of animals.“
Richardson-Sellers will be a series regular while Echikunwoke will continue to voice Vixen on season two of the animated series, which will air on The CW Seed.
