‘The Incredibles 2’ Updates
So a sequel to the 2004 animated superhero film is actually going to happen- in 2019. June 21 2019 to be exact.
And it is about time for something new. As Edna Mode would say “You can’t be seen in
this. I won’t allow it! Fifteen years ago, maybe, but now?”
And look at that, fifteen years later, we will have a sequel that will focus on a new generation of superhero: Jack-Jack.
The characters will have aged to fit the real time gap, so Jack-Jack is a pre-teen at this point.
But that’s all Brad Bird, who will return to write and direct the sequel, will say on the film right now, but he has said that this plot will definitely be better than the original.
And recently Samuel L. Jackson shared that he will be reprising his character Lucius Best (AKA Frozone) in the sequel.
“Every time I run into Brad, he always tells me Frozone is part of what’s going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be The Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what’s already there,” said Jackson.
