The Red Hot Chili Peppers Join James Corden for ‘Carpool Karaoke’

Fresh off of hosting what is being called one of the best Tony Awards show in years, James Corden, once again, created a killer Carpool Karaoke segment, this time, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  Things get a little crazy…  and shirtless!

On his way to work, James Corden picks up Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and, along the way, they sing a variety of popular RHCP songs including “Can’t Stop,” “Give It Away,” “Californication,” “Under the Bridge,” and “By the Way,” as well as the new single “Dark Necessities.” There are even some added in bonus including a never before heard “alternate ending” added in by Flea involving the song Food Glorious Food from the musical version of Oliver!.  The group discusses a story of two fans fighting each other with their prosthetic legs and how Cher used to babysit Kiedis when he was a kid.

Some of the hilarious highlights of the segment include a pit stop to hold a wrestling match on someone’s lawn and a shirtless rendition of “The Zephyr Song”.  This is, by far, the craziest Carpool Karaoke we have seen yet!

Check out the video below and, you can also check out past Carpool Karaoke segments with Jennifer Lopez, Gwen StefaniDemi Lovato with Nick Jonas and the Broadway Edition with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jane Krakowski.
