‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ Previews Begin!
The stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, opened for previews today at the London Palace Theatre. Fans came from all over dressed in their best robes with wands waving. There was a glow of curiosity about them, a familiar one that certainly hasn’t faded throughout the years.
The play focuses on Albus Severus Potter (Harry’s middle son) and his time at Hogwarts. Although this time, Albus is dealing with feelings of alienation, from both school and home. Aside from the main story, which J. K. Rowling herself has requested we #KeepTheSecrets, Harry, Ron and Hermione remain true to who they were when we put them down at the end of Deathly Hallows.
And from what I hear, magic really does appear on the stage.
Part 2 will preview on Thursday evening.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child officially opens July 30th.
