The Walking Dead: Mind blowing Final Season According To Norman Reedus!

Just like they’ve been scribbling all over the walls in Fear The Walking Dead, the end is the beginning. And the end begins on August 22 for The Walking Dead when the final season starts. It’s going to be a mind blowing final season according to star Norman Reedus.

Norman Reedus knows what he’s talking about, too. After all, he’s been in the show since it started! Originally, I wasn’t sure he’d end up lasting but Daryl quickly rose up to become a fan favourite.

For some time, actually, fans kept saying “If Daryl dies, we riot” and I suspect they might have done it too! Luckily Daryl has survived up until now and with a spin-off in the works, his odds of making it out of the final season alive are really good!

No riots for now, Walking Dead fans.

Norman Reedus discussed the upcoming final season during an interview with ComicBook.com. This was an exclusive too, so check it out over on their website! Here’s what he told them.

“[Daryl is] protecting the kids a lot, to be honest, and…he’s protecting Maggie a lot. Maggie’s going through a big thing at the beginning of this season, he kind of takes it upon himself to keep an eye on her and be part of that journey.

“It’s kind of mind-blowing where we’re going,”  he said later on in the interview. We did the first 10 episodes kind of in one direction, and that involved Maggie’s story mostly, and us trying to deal with what’s going on with that as a group. And then all of a sudden, we did a one-eighty, and now it’s kind of like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory all of a sudden.”

It sounds like we can expect one hell of a mind blowing final season on The Walking Dead! I can’t wait for the series to return on August 22, or on August 15 if you have AMC+
