Dominic Purcell Injured While Filming ‘Prison Break’
Dominic Purcell plays the rough and tough Lincoln Burrows on Prison Break but, it turns out, he’s just as tough in real life.
A few days ago, Purcell was involved in an accident on set that could have left him severely injured and could have been devastating to production. Purcell posted on Instagram that an iron bar fell from set, hitting him directly in the face and head.
An accident like this could be life threatening however, tough guy Purcell persevered. In his post, he says he didn’t get knocked out but took a knee before being taken to the hospital.

The accident left Purcell with some serious wounds, a hundred stitches and a broken nose but, as the actor says due to his “unusually tough tissue fiber” he walked away relatively unharmed.
Just yesterday, Purcell took to Instagram once again to post a video showing that he is back in action and ready for anything.

Fans will be happy to know that accident will not impact Prison Break‘s filming or production. We are so happy that Dominic Purcell is back in action!
