The Flash Preview ‘Invincible’
The war against Zoom has begun.
Fresh off of his enlightening trip through the Speed Force, Barry believes that he is now capable of stopping Zoom. Unfortunately, Zoom has been busy creating a metahuman army, which is led by another recognizable face: Dinah Laurel Lance. On Earth-2, she goes by the name of Black Siren, and if she is anything like the Laurel we all knew and loved, she is going to be bad news. Team Flash is going to have a hard time defeating the doppelgänger of their fallen friend.
Last week, Caitlin was presented with an ultimatum. She could either remain with Zoom and live, or return to her friends and die with them. We don’t know the final decision, and it could have gone either way. She could stay with Zoom and later stab him in the back, or she could go to Team Flash and tell them about the metahuman army. I have a feeling, like way down deep inside, that something might happen that will trigger her metahuman abilities. Cisco’s were triggered when he was killed by Wells and Barry went back in time. Maybe something along those lines will jump start the Killer Frost within. That would be so cool, and I so want her to have powers.
I am incredibly excited to see Katie Cassidy’s turn as Black Siren. From the images, she looks really awesome. Her outfit is a nod to the comics (and I almost like it a little bit more than her Black Canary gear). I am wondering if perhaps she will be turned to the good side and then join forces with Team Flash. Her “canary cry” (siren song?) would probably come in real handy against Zoom.
All in all, I think we are in for a crazy final two episodes.
