‘Force Awakens’ Star Daisy Ridley Sharpens Her Lightsaber Skills
Daisy Ridley posted a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into her training for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII. The description for Episode VIII says, “Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015), Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.” Based on the video Ridley has posted to her Instagram, we can certainly see that Rey is becoming “the force” (see what I did there?) to be reckoned with and is taking her training seriously (sort of. Ok, not so seriously).
In the video, Ridley is training with stuntman Liang Yang which she mentioned in the caption by saying, “Obvs not great but HE’S amazing and he’s also featured at the end our stunt team are the most incredible group of people, so lucky I get to train with them!”
