Daisy Ridley and J.J. Abrams are Working Together Again

Daisy Ridley is in talks with Paramount Pictures to star in a fantasy-romance called Kolma
based on an Israeli TV movie that came out in 2003 called, All I’ve Got (Kol Ma She’Yesh Li). Abrams’ company Bad Robot Productions is set to produce the film and Marielle Heller is in talks to direct.

The Wrap reports that the project follows a young woman who survives a car crash the claims the life of her boyfriend. Decades later when she enters the afterlife she is forced to choose between being reunited with her love in the afterlife or return to the fateful day that changed her life. EW who source their article to The Wrap report a slightly different synopsis, after
her boyfriend dies the woman lives a full life and even marries. When she arrives to the after life she is forced to choose between her long lost love or wait for her longtime husband. If she chooses her young love she will forget
the life she had previous led.

Either story sounds fantastic! Daisy Ridley is not just banking on Star Wars at this point, in addition to this project Ridley
herself has said there have been conversations about her playing Lara Croft.

Star Wars movies can either make or break an acting career, it will be interesting to see where this talented young actress goes after the international success of the newest Star Wars movie.
