Why Harrison Ford Wanted Han Solo To Die For 30 years
Harrison Ford had some great news last week that he would return to a character in Lucasfilm and Disney, but would not be Indiana Jones. Harrison Ford did a Q&A with Tumblr and Entertainment Weekly.
There was one answer that really stood out, and that was one about The Force Awakens and the death of Han Solo.
How do you feel about the ending in The Force Awakens? (I myself am heartbroken) – Fan named SXRYA “I think it’s a fitting use of the character. I’ve been arguing for Han Solo to die for about 30 years, not because I was tired of him or because he’s boring, but his sacrifice for the other characters would lend gravitas and emotional weight.”
