‘Supernatural’ Preview – ‘Safe House’

‘Supernatural’ Preview
– ‘Safe
House’

Supernatural is finally back this
week, and I for
one am very
excited! Any extended break from the brothers is never fun, and
while reruns
work for a time, there is
nothing like a brand new episode to look
forward too. But, when that new
episode includes a familiar face,
its just that
much better.

Bobby is back this week in
‘Safe House’! I
am a big fan
of Jim Beaver, and have missed him ever since his early demise way
back when
in season 7. I don’t know if he
will be part of a flashback, a time
travel or a trip to Heaven, but however
they are able to bring him back
into the
fold, I’ll take it! The official synopsis from the CW

says:

“A
dangerous creature is accidentally
released into an old house, attacking a
mother and her child, leaving them
both
in a coma. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) learn that
Bobby
(guest star Jim Beaver)
and Rufus (guest star Steven Williams) once tracked the
same entity so the
Winchesters look to the past to
come up with a plan to catch
the monster before any one
dies.”

The Darkness is continuing to plague everyone
on both sides,
Crowley is in the wind, and the boys
have a new case on their
hands. The season will start to wind down over the
next couple of episodes,

which means that some sort of terrible thing is about to happen, and one of
the
guys will be left with an
impossible choice. We have ten seasons of proof to
back that
up.

Knowing that the show got renewed for
a season 12
(YAY!) means there is a very good chance that another major
cliffhanger is also
on the
horizon. If the guys are able to uncover one of the other Hands of God,
or
get a spiritual assist from their
friend Chuck, I’ve no doubt they will put
Darkness back where she

belongs.

What worries me is the condition in which it will leave
them.
Will Cas survive Lucifer’s
ride? Will Dean be able to resist Amara when the
time comes to do her in?
Will Sam ever be able to let go of
the year’s worth of
guilt he carries around?

These
poor boys need a real
vacation.
Supernatural returns Wednesday, March 23rd at 9 p.m. on the CW.
