The Flash Preview ‘Trajectory’
The hiatus is over!
There’s a new speedster in town that is giving the Flash a bad name. Everyone believes that Flash has gone rogue, heavily fueled by Iris’ new boss at the paper, Scott Evans. From the preview, it doesn’t seem like Barry is putting up a good fight.
Trajectory is our female speedster, whose real name is Eliza Harmon. In the comics, Eliza signed up to be a test subject of Lex Luthor’s and that is how she gained super speed. She didn’t realize just how much moving that fast would effect her, so she started taking a drug called “Sharp” in order to slow down. She was killed by Blockbuster during a fight, but what people didn’t know is that Luthor had worked in a fail-safe and cut Eliza’s speed during the battle, which resulted in her death.
We don’t know if any of this will make its way into the episode, but it would be interesting to see if maybe they incorporate some of it, like the slow-down drug. Since Team Flash is still trying to figure out how to defeat Zoom, Sharp might be a part of the solution.
The Flash returns March 22 on The CW.
