‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ DVD/Blu-Ray and Digital Release Date Set
Finally we are getting a date of when this favorite is coming home! Bob Iger revealed the official date during a shareholders call for Disney on Thursday.
On April 1, we will be able to buy our digital release for The Force Awakens, which will be followed up with Blu-Ray and DVD on April 5. This is very smart to do, bring out the digital version first. Everything is being digitalized so it really shouldn’t surprise me. Even though a lot of people don’t like it, some will buy the digital version just to see it once again.
Mark the calendars, because I have a feeling it will be a bit crowded in the stores! Or if you want to safe some trouble, you can always buy a pre-order on Amazon.
